This month, Soolip welcomes Dutch artist Mariken van Heugten to Westlake Village for an intimate, in-person celebration of her evocative and organic ink-based artwork.

”From the moment I first encountered her work in which rivers of richly pigmented ink course through serene, organic forms of color, I knew I had discovered a kindred spirit in creativity.

There is something undeniably poetic about Mariken’s art: it is at once fluid and grounded, intentional and wild. I have dreamed of seeing her work in person… and of sharing it with you.

Now, that dream becomes reality.

I invite you to experience Mariken and her work at a special gathering hosted at Zinqué, an eclectic new restaurant and space here in Westlake Village I love. The entire evening will be more than a viewing but also a celebration of artistic expression.
