We Planted a SEED and it grew! SEED Retreat Recap FROM WANDA WEN

You know how you imagine about something happening for so long? You think about it, talk about it, dream about it, and then, finally, the day comes and it's not quite as you envisioned? This happened to me recently.

Only, with S E E D, the all-day, soul-nourishing retreat that I sowed with my friend Jen Dohr from Authentic Voice this past weekend was A HUNDRED TIMES BETTER than we imagined!

There were so many reasons, but it came down to the one thing no one can imagine - the people who showed up fully with their beautiful creativity, curiousity and hearts to the experience. What an amazing group!

Building Community

We spent the day in nature practicing meditation, yoga movement, introspective writing, creativity of hand and heart, deep listening, and being in community with others. Beautiful, and bountiful organic foods, and of course, the S E E D ToolKit filled with items to support mindful living!

The S E E D TookKit

The tool kit was designed by our Soolip team and filled with signed copies of Lighter: Let Go of the Past, Connect with the Present and Expand the Future by Yung Pueblo, an essential oil from Viveka Yoga and Ayurveda, Spirit Almonds (which I'm eating as I write this to you!), Trader Joe's Passion Fruit Rounds (these are seasonal and might be hard to find now), Soolip paper, bookbinding and writing accessories, including my absolute favorite combination of pencil and highlighter by Sozy Pencils.

Making journals

I'm so happy to share some words received from our participants.

“We need these types of experiences in our lives. They remind us we bring value into the world simply by being our truest and most authentic selves.”
- Christine B.

“The most important discovery - when done right, a one-day retreat can be as rejuvenating as a week-long vacation!
- Liese G.

“I didn’t want the day to end . . . Thank you both for bringing a unique, authentic experience to life and helping me in a variety of ways I could not have foreseen. I wanted to let you know before I closed my eyes and end such a lovely day . . . You both crafted a “work of art” as a day retreat!
- Kathleen G.

The next S E E D retreat is January 25, 2025. Is there a better way to begin the new year? Tickets are not yet on sale, but email us at info@soolip.com to get on the wait list.
