From Paper to Pen to Page
Everyone has an artist inside. The artist is our inner self, what we desire to communicate and express. Whether you work as a corporate executive, lawyer, medical professional, designer, public servant, entrepreneur, parent, student, making time to connect to your authentic self by accessing your innate creativity on a regular basis is vital to our health and well-being. When we try something new outside of our daily work, or when we create something original, we cultivate our ability to think outside the box, keeping us vibrant, open, optimistic, joyful.

We all desire to live from our full, authentic selves, but how do we get there? Wanda and Jen will guide you in their unique approach that catapults you out of thinking and into creative self-expression, with hand and heart. This two-part workshop begins with becoming familiar with the handmade papers from the ARPA paper mill in Spain and Velke Losiny paper mill in the Czech Republic, and using hand-dyed ribbons to create and hand bind your own journal. Next, we will lift pen to page to mine the stories that our authenticity is derived from. You will learn expressive writing techniques that will help you access deeper levels of self-awareness and enable you to acknowledge the authority of your lived experience. You will leave with an artisanal soft cover, personal journal for more creative deep-diving, and a three-part process to uncover insights from your life that empower you to step forth with greater confidence in yourself and in your relationships.
Attendees will receive a J. Herbin Calligraphy or Rollerball Pen with a choice of 2 colors of ink cartridges to inspire beauty on your written pages.
